All About Review Revue (Part I)
Review Revue [version 1.0] is the first attempt at my first web site. (Better late than never.)
I'm a student in a library and information science program, and accordingly wanted my site to organize some useful information. My wife (thanks, Sara!) had the idea of links to reviews.
I wasn't sure whether someone had already done this. But my research so far indicates that no one has, at least not comprehensively in one place for multiple categories. (If there is such a site, I'll be sure to link to it!)
I went back and forth about the name. I've decided that I like it, though it's not the shortest or easiest name to type in a browser's address bar. If anyone has a better idea, I'm interested.
I made a brief attempt to host this site for free at Tripod (http://reviewrevue.tripod.com -- all you'll see now is a redirect to the current site and a link to the former book reviews page). To my surprise, even though there were no hyperlinks to and from the site (except the links supplied by Tripod), Google indexed it quickly and made it number one for some searches. I suppose that's a good sign for the current site.
